Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs sliced into strips
  • 1 medium red bell pepper sliced thin
  • 1 medium yellow bell pepper sliced thin
  • 1 medium green bell pepper sliced thin
  • 1 medium onion sliced into half rings
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes.
  2. Slice chicken, peppers, and onion into similar-width strips.
  3. Toss everything with olive oil and fajita seasoning until fully coated.
  4. Spread in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed.
  5. Air fry at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking basket halfway through.
  6. Check chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature before serving.
  7. Serve immediately in warm tortillas with desired toppings.

  • Always preheat the air fryer for best charring results.
  • Never overcrowd the basket - cook in batches for even browning.
